Last month, we celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Zebra Athletics brand by taking a look back at the history of our company, our products and our our team. We also took a look at some of the ways in which we have given back to the community (see how you can give back as well).
Where We Are Going
We have come a long way and we are still growing as a company. While continuing to offer MMA mats and weight room flooring, we have also begun to expand our Yoga and Home Fitness product lines.
But that is not all we are up to in 2017. Big things are in store for our future. Here are a few of the things you can look forward to this year:
A Never Before Seen Mat Color
Since they were released, our black and gray mats have been two of our best selling colors. But that is not stopping us from delivering something new to the industry. Later this year, look for our release of a new mat color, which will be the first of its kind in MMA tile mats.
Home Gym Fitness
One of our largest initiatives in the past years has been our push to offer more home gym products. We want you to have the same quality mats, bags, racks, etc. in your home gym that are available at any facility we have outfitted.

Partnering with the Best
The MMA, martial arts and yoga industries have exploded in the U.S. over the years, and there is still a lot of room for growth. But as many have discovered, opening a gym, academy, or studio is not the easiest feat.
We are constantly in touch with athletes, facility owners and other industry leaders. We are working hard to give athletes and coaches the resources and information they need to open and manage new facilities.
Appearances by Mackenzie Dern
We recently had Mackenzie Dern, the ADCC and no gi BJJ (black belt) World Champion, drop in at one of our events to meet with fans and take a few photos. This is only the first of many appearances we will host, so keep an eye out for more meet and greets, autograph signings and plenty more as we continue to develop our partnership with her.
